Gorch'mynodd Iesu mawr ein pen,
I'n garu'n gilydd îs y nen;
A gwneuthur pob peth o un fryd,
Er lles i holl
drigolion byd.
Cariad a'n dwg yn mlaen yn llon,
Trwy wres y dydd,
a grym y don;
'Nol croesi'r ddu Iorddonen gref,
Yn fflam angherddol byth bydd ef.
Boed genym ddidwyll gariad llon,
At holl breswylwyr daear gron;
Gan gofio fod holl ddynolryw,
Dan aden rhagluniaethol Duw.
Fel brodyr a chwaeriorydd glÃḃn,
Boed cariad megys nefol dÃḃn;
O'n mewn yn dymher
hyfryd hardd,
A'i ffrwythau'n deg
fel Eden ardd.

[Mesur: MH 8888] |
Great Jesus our Head commanded,
Us to love each other beneath the sky;
And do everything of one mind,
For the benefit of all
the residents of the world.
Love leads us on cheerfully,
Through the heat of the day,
and the force of the wave;
After crossing the strong, black Jordan,
An ardent flame forever it shall be.
May we have cheerful, sincere love,
Towards all the round world's residents;
Remembering that all humankind are
Under the wings of providential God.
As holy brothers and sisters,
Let love be like a heavenly fire;
Within us as a beautiful,
beautiful temper,
And its fruits be fair
like the garden of Eden.
